Join us Saturday, November 7, 2026 for an all day event at the Grand Gardens Downtown, 68 Dennis Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Salt and Light's first ever of what we hope will become an annual event. Doors open at 10 am, conference runs from 11am- 9pm. We will have praise & worship, speakers, book signing, lunch and dinner and close with a music concert.
Featuring inspirational speaker: Cheryl Weber, Tess Scott and Cindy Seaton- Henson as well as the music of Jodi Leslie.

Cheryl Weber

Cheryl has spent more than 20 years in broadcasting, both in front of the camera and behind it. She co-hosts Canada's long running daily talk show, "100 Huntley Street" interviewing well known celebrities and inspiring everyday people. She has had a passion to live out God's love authentically.
She’s spoken nationally and internationally on topics including women’s issues, social justice, sex trafficking, finding purpose, faith, overcoming fear and much more. Named as one of the top 100 female Christian Canadian women, recognized with a Woman of Excellence Award for Raising Global Awareness and an International Women Achievers' Media Award.
Tess Scott
Author/Speaker
Tess is a wife, a mom of 8 boys and a black sheep turned Jesus Girl. Speake and author of “Listen Sister: Finding hope in the freakshow of life”, she can be seen at the “Girls Night Out; Let’s Glow Girls ” comedy tour.
She loves her huge family, antiques at auction, and soaking up the ever-brief Ontario sunshine in her backyard with her BFF. She has battled boys in adolescence, breast cancer and the loneliness of an extrovert working from home. Oh, it’s a scene, sister.
Cindy Seaton-Henson
Author/Speaker
Wife of thirty-six years, home schooling mother of five children and grandmother. From her country home in Northern Ontario, she has been a blogger of “Inspiring Women: Life With..” blog where she inspires women by sharing her love for God, everyday life, struggles and joys.
Cindy is the author of two books “Suitcases from Heaven” and “Beauty from Ashes: A Mother’s Journey from Bitterness to Hope”. Cindy has been an inspirational speaker at several women’s conferences and events across Ontario.
Jodie Leslie
Singer/Songwriter/Worship Leader.
Recording artist Jodie Leslie - Farm raised gal - with a passion for music and Jesus. She has performed across Canada and the USA, at the Grand Ol’ Opry sharing the stage with Brian Adams, Chantal Kreviazuk, Bill Anderson, Alannah Myles, and other well known artists. She has 3 albums and singles available on i-Tunes, Amazon and other streaming platforms.

Can I bring my children?
There is no nursey, childcare or change facilities available at this event. This is open to all women ages 16+. The purpose of the retreat is to give you time away from life's everyday distractions and to experience the blessing and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please do not bring nursing infants or children under 16 to the retreat.
How much does it cost?

Can you accommodate food intolerance?

Bar services are available from the Grand Garden directly with limited wine, coolers and beer at an additional cost per their menue.
